I read the article, Globalization vs. Americanization, which was written by Lam. He said that man's identity is in conflict because of globalization. It is true. My experiences make me think that he is correct. For example, I am studying abroad in America; however, my grandparents never traveled outside of Korea. I am learning English in Chicago, and some American people want to learn Korean. Lam believes that before people did not accept other cultures. Because of that, people couldn't do much in other countries. Now people accept the other countries' culture.
